Totally Misleading March 12, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Like most men I am not bald but my hair has been thinning for a number of years, and was looking for a way to make it a little thicker or prevent it getting any worse. This book suggested that Mr Hurwitz had found a way. In truth this is about a man who had gone completely bald and how he came to accept his predicament – this is how he beat it by improving his bank account for very little effort. I don’t mind people writing books of this nature, but the title particularly in the age of Internet buying is completely misleading (published 2003). I am sure that somewhere this book contravenes the Trades Descriptions Act, and the author and publishers should be sued. I cannot help but get the distinct impression that Mr Hurwitz has deliberately titled this book to be misleading. I have purchased a used copy, but my integrity refuses me to re- sell it. It shame that others and the person who wrote the revue before me don’t feel the same.
A bit lightweight February 16, 2006 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This book is quite well written and amusing in places and some balding or bald men may find it encouraging. It is aimed at men, and not directly relevant to women. However, it is not about how to regrow hair.Of the 104 small pages, 30 are completely blank and a good proportion of the rest are predominantly blank or half filled with large-font titles, so not good value for money in my opinion.
