A REAL GEM! Spencer Kobren is The Ralph Nader of hair! January 5, 1999

Dr. Norwood was right when he wrote that "Every balding man should read this book." I can't get over how much information Mr. Kobren was able to put in this paperback. I bought the book about 5 months ago, followed his treatment plan and have STOPPED my hair loss! It's so wonderful to feel good about my self again. If anyone out there is wondering whether or not to pick this gem up, JUST DO IT, It has changed my life and words can't describe just how truly grateful I am to this man. JUST DO IT people, it will be the best investment in yourself you can ever make!
Great Book! December 20, 1998
I really loved the fact the Mr. Kobren gave his book such a human touch. He really seems to understand what we are going through and explains things in a easy to understand way. After reading his book I came away feeling much better about my situation.His dietary suggestions make a lot of sence. I hope every one who is going through hair loss has the opportunaty to read this book. It has made me feel less hopeless and made me determained to fight this thing. As some others here wrote, thank you so much Mr. Kobren for giving us the wonderful gift of The Bald Truth. Just so you know I bought 10 copies to hand out at the office for holiday gifts. As a "recovering bald guy" who has survived and triumphed over baldness, I found "The Bald Truth" to be the Bible of hair restoration! Its approach is comprehensive and bluntly honest. Having had my hair successfully restored by one of the world's finest hair transplant surgeons, Dr. Ron Shapiro, I found the author's critique of the state of hair transplantation to be excellent. With todays advances, if a person chooses wisely, they have an excellent chance at restoring their hair. If they choose poorly, a person may spend a good deal of money with traumatic consequences. "The Bald Truth" offers THE best guidance for navigating through all these hair restoration options. Spencer Kobren does an excellent job of informing people of the essentials EVERY person should know before looking into any type of treatment for hair loss. Along with information from the web site Koren mentions in the book, Regrowth, any hair loss consumer can learn how to treat their hair loss without being ripped off.
